EnviroShield was contracted by Q K Cold Stores (Marston) Ltd to supply and install 75mm thickness mineral wool insulation across their facility. The project required a comprehensive insulation solution capable of withstanding temperatures up to 100°C and exposure to caustic substances.

Project Scope

Insulation Installation: 75mm thickness mineral wool insulation was supplied and installed, covering all designated areas. The insulation was selected for its high resistance to heat and caustic chemicals, ensuring long-term durability and performance.
Cladding: The insulated areas were over-clad with high-grade stainless steel, securely fixed using stainless steel rivets. This choice of materials and fastening methods was critical in providing a robust and lasting solution.

Key Specifications

Temperature Resistance: The insulation and cladding were designed to endure temperatures up to 100°C.
Chemical Resistance: The materials were chosen to withstand the harsh caustic environment of the facility.
